I am writing to show that my person has a positive influence on the world and the progress of humanity, in other words, how he is notable. Nikola Tesla has created the Tesla coil, which has helped humanity progress with Television and radio. He has invented the first alternating current motor, commonly known as AC, and developed AC generation and transmission technology. He also helped install AC generators at Niagra falls power station, making it the first modern power station.

Firstly, Nikola has made a significant impact to the world, he created the tesla coil which is used to produce high voltage, low current and high frequency AC electricity. The tesla coil helped to make an advance in technology. Customized Tesla coils are now often used to ignite powerful mercury and sodium streetlamps. The tesla coil made the steps into wireless telegraphy possible. He should be considered notable just because of this massive influence on the world. 

 

Furthermore, Tesla created the alternating current, which is massive because without it we wouldn’t have electricity distribution. This would mean that the electricity system would run on DC, which over time would be very inefficient over long distances. This would mean that each city would require multiple power stations. This would cost a lot more money and would have probably made Climate Change already in a worse state than it is now. This is another reason why Tesla should be considered notable.  

 

Lastly, he has come back from being lied to and tricked by Thomas Edison. Edison said that if Tesla improved his DC motor, he would pay $50,000. But Edison could never pay Tesla because he knew that he was smarter than himself. Then Tesla went on to get hired by Westinghouse, where he excelled greatly, and created the AC which we use today. He invented electric oscillators, meters, improved lights and the tesla coil. These are just some of the multiple reasons he should be considered notable. 

 

In conclusion, I know that he is a notable person and I think you should consider the notability of his actions during his lifetime and the impact he has had on human society.
